Evaluating barriers and incentives to the engagement of knowledge holders in IPBES and IPCC processes

SURVEY: Evaluating barriers and incentives to the engagement of knowledge holders in IPBES and IPCC processes

Join us in shaping the future of biodiversity and climate change knowledge by participating in an important survey designed for contributors and knowledge holders like you!

Are you a contributor, potential contributor, or end user of IPBES and/or IPCC? Do you represent an institution, organisation, or group working in the fields of biodiversity and/or climate change?

If so, we invite you to take advantage of an opportunity to actively influence the development of targeted actions aimed at improving expert engagement within both processes. By participating in RESPIN's survey, you will help evaluate the barriers and incentives affecting the involvement of knowledge holders in the IPBES and IPCC processes.

The RESPIN project (REinforcing Science-Policy INterfaces for integrated biodiversity and climate knowledge and policies) seeks to enhance the incorporation of existing knowledge about biodiversity and climate change into decision-making and to strengthen collaboration between IPBES and IPCC. To achieve this, RESPIN aims to identify gaps in knowledge provision and develop strategies to improve expert engagement. Your responses to the survey will help us understand the barriers and incentives impacting the engagement of knowledge holders in these processes.

The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and is available in four languages: English, French, Spanish and Russian.

At the end of the questionnaire, you will have the option to indicate if you wish to receive updates about the RESPIN project, including how your answers will be used, and to be contacted in the future for RESPIN-related events (such as webinars and guides).

Your insights are vital! Help us break down barriers and amplify the voices of knowledge holders in IPBES and IPCC processes—let's work together for a more sustainable future.
