The Horizon Europe-funded RESPIN project will actively participate in the IPBES Stakeholder Day on 2 February 2026, contributing a range of communication and knowledge materials aimed at strengthening the science–policy interface for biodiversity and climate change.
At the event, RESPIN will present a dedicated project poster alongside a curated set of publications that highlight key findings and practical insights from the project’s ongoing work.
Among the featured materials will be:
-
Stakeholder Network Analysis (SNA) brochures, showcasing key patterns and insights into how biodiversity–climate knowledge flows across national science–policy systems
-
A two-page report on the business uptake of biodiversity and climate knowledge, exploring how private sector actors engage with scientific evidence
-
A finance factsheet, offering targeted insights for financial stakeholders (to be made available digitally via QR code)
-
Course promotion postcards introducing RESPIN’s new self-paced online courses on the science–policy interface (2,000 copies planned)
-
The first set of RESPIN factsheets, summarising core project findings in an accessible format
RESPIN’s presence will be further strengthened by the participation of numerous consortium members on site, including representatives from UFZ, SYKE, BELSPO, and other partner institutions. This will provide opportunities for direct exchange with stakeholders, in-depth discussions on project findings, and collaboration around strengthening biodiversity–climate knowledge uptake in policy processes.
Through its engagement at the IPBES Stakeholder Day, RESPIN aims to connect with the broader IPBES community, share evidence-based insights, and contribute to ongoing efforts to enhance science–policy interfaces across sectors.
